Feeding Habits: |
Bluefish juveniles feed shrimp, small lobsters, crabs and larvae. Adults will feed on smaller schooling fish. |
Range: |
Bluefish are native to both the American and European-African coasts of the Atlantic Ocean. |
Habitat: |
Bluefish inhabit both inshore and offshore areas of coastal regions, with the young fish called "snappers" often frequent estuaries and river mouths. |

The bluefish can grow to a size of almost 3 feet in length and nearly 20 pounds as a mature adult fish. |
